The Killara Golf Club is home to one of Sydney's premier golf courses, regularly rated among Australia's Top 100 courses.

Golf

Guests should be invited to play by a member of Killara, unless they are from interstate or overseas, in which case they may be introduced by the General Manager.

Manager introduced guests should be affiliated with a recognised golf club or association, and hold a current membership identification card or letter of introduction from that organisation.

Green fee charges are available upon application.

Generally it has been the custom for men and women to have golfing priority on certain days, and whilst all golfing Members are entitled to use the Course, the Committee seeks your cooperation in maintaining the custom.

Visitors

Visitors Books are placed in the Entrance Vestibule, the Professional Shop and the Bowls Pavilion. The names of all visitors to the Club must be properly recorded in the Visitors Book by the accompanying Member immediately on arrival at the Club House. It is the responsibility of the accompanying member to ensure that all visitors adhere to the Club's Dress Standards and policy regarding mobile phones.

Subject to circumstances as provided in By-Law 5.3 the same person may not be introduced as a Visitor to the Club for more than two consecutive days or more than six occasions in any one year for the purpose of playing any one of golf, tennis, squash or bowls.

Visitors fees for this year are:

Golf

1st $50, 2nd $65, 3rd $80
Tennis $ 10.00
Squash $ 10.00

Junior Members may invite junior visitors for a fee of 50% of the relevant visitors fee. Visitors fees for golf must be paid at the Professional Shop before commencing play, when both the accompanying member and visitor must sign the visitors book. Visitors fees for squash should be paid at the Lower Bar, Top Bar or Office before play. Visitors fees for tennis will be charged to Members' accounts.

Golfing Visitors

Subject to circumstances referred to in By-Law 5.3 a Member shall not introduce more than three playing visitors on any one occasion and the Member must play in the same match as the visitors. Until all competitors have passed through the 1st tee, Members may not bring visitors to play on the Course on Competition days (other than on Invitation days), except with the permission of a Member of the Committee. Golfing visitors must be signed in at the Professional Shop and each person must sign the register of visitors.

Members may invite visitors to play on Wednesday, except for the period between 4 May, 2005 and 3 August, 2005, and Sunday golfing competitions conducted by the Professional, subject to the payment of visitors fees. Two guests may not play as partners. Children of Members may play on the Course at times when visitors are normally permitted, but only when accompanied by a Member. During school holidays, children of Members may use the Course only after attending a clinic conducted by the Club Professional and only at his discretion. At all times school children of Members are subject to a fee of $7.50.
