Greg Hohnen

Appointed as Head PGA Professional in 1995, Greg began at Killara in 1973 at the age of 16, as Assistant Professional under David Mercer. Greg participated in the Australian Tour full time from 1975 till 1979 and while devoting more time to Club Professional Shop duties and teaching, continued playing many events on the main tour after 1980. Widely respected as one of the leading teaching professionals in Australia, Greg is ranked inside the top 50 coaches by “Golf Digest”. His professional association with Killara Golf Club is one of the longest standing as a PGA Professional.


Patrick Fairweather

Appointed Head Professional in 2016 alongside Greg. Having started as an apprentice at Killara in 1998, Patrick gained much golfing experience while competing full time in Europe from 2001 to 2008. On his return to Australia in 2009 he became Assistant PGA Professional at Killara and became a partner in the Professional Shop. Patrick is passionate about teaching, developing young players and all aspects of the golf industry.

Ryan Bernard

Ryan started at Killara as Junior Shop Assistant in 2008, ahead of his becoming Trainee PGA Professional in 2011. He has achieved outstanding results in his PGA training, being placed in the top 10 in Australia both for golf and academic results
