Use of Mobile Phones and Other Electronic Devices
Members and visitors are requested to switch off, or to silent, their mobile phones and other electronic devices (eg tablets, smart watches, laptops) while on the golf course or practice areas. However, GPS and distance measuring functions may be activated, provided they comply with the Rules of Golf and are accessed silently.
Members and visitors must not make or receive phone calls or video calls (eg Skype) on the course at any time, except in the case of an emergency or if the General Manager or Duty Manager on a particular day has authorised the use of the phone by a member or guest for a special reason eg: doctor on call.
Clubhouse (including dining room)
Members and visitors are requested to set mobile phones and electronic devices on silent while in the clubhouse and its surrounds, including the dining room, and to make or receive phone calls and video calls only in the locker rooms or in the car park.
Photo browsing & sharing, sending & receiving text messages, diarising and accessing the internet or other applications are permitted in the clubhouse and its surrounds, including the dining room, provided these are done silently and do not interfere with any other member’s quiet enjoyment of the Club’s facilities.
Videos & photographs
Members and visitors are requested not to take videos or photographs anywhere in the Club grounds without the prior consent of the General Manager or Duty Manager on a particular day.
Where consent is given, any photographs or videos taken at the Club must not be published or posted on any social media or networking site (eg Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook) without approval from the General Manager or Duty Manager on a particular day.
