The Killara Golf Club, with its origins dating back to 1899, has long established itself as an excellent function venue with an array of options for all occasions. From an outdoor terrace with spectacular sweeping views of the golf course, to an intimate private dining room, or the relaxed atmosphere of the Lower Bar and BBQ terrace overlooking the putting green, or an elegant and expansive dining room with dance floor, our professional and friendly staff will accommodate your individual needs.

We are conveniently located only 14 kilometres from Sydney’s CBD in the heart of the north shore and have ample parking onsite.
While Killara Gold Club is known as one of Sydney’s most prestigious private member clubs, we warmly welcome enquiries from non-members.

Function Rooms
A stylish and elegant Clubhouse built in 1933 in the Art Deco style, Killara Golf Club is situated in a beautiful parkland setting with many glorious trees, manicured fairways and pristine landscaped gardens.
We have serval rooms of varying sizes to suite your function.
Dining Room
Both spacious and elegant, this room can accommodate up to 145 guests in a sit-down style reception and up to 300 guests for a cocktail function. This is a very versatile room with plenty of natural lighting, dimmable lights and classical partition doors. High speed wireless internet access is also available, as is a lectern and data projector screen.
Billiards Room
A large open room with gabled ceilings and a backdrop of a championship sized billiard table, this space is well suited for corporate meetings and for group dinners. French doors open to an undercover outdoor balcony overlooking the 18th hole. High speed wireless internet access is also available and there is ample room for a projector screen.
Private Dining Room
For intimate gatherings, whether it be a meeting or a dinner function, the Private Dining Room offers elegant décor and a large window with views out to the golf course. A log fireplace adds a special ambience in winter.
Top Bar
Adjoining our Dining Room, the Top Bar is the perfect setting for pre- or post-dinner drinks. Complete with log fireplace the Top Bar is a welcoming space often used for small casual corporate meetings or private functions.
Golf Course
Whether it be a Corporate Golf Day or a corporate meeting followed by an afternoon of golf, Killara Golf Course is renowned as one of Sydney’s most prestigious golf courses.
Additional Sporting Facilities
Killara Golf Club is unique in that it not only offers a premier golf course, but has a number of other sporting facilities available right here at the Club including 2 tennis courts, a squash court and a lawn bowls green. Adding tennis, squash or bowls into your corporate event will give you more flexible options for your whole team – whether they be clients, staff, customers or suppliers.
BBQ Facilities
Our Lower Bar outdoor BBQ terrace is a great spot to enjoy a BBQ lunch and a drink with your guests in the casual atmosphere of our outdoor tables with umbrella shading. Our open-air terrace overlooking the golf course enjoys views to the Blue Mountains, and caters for outdoor BBQ entertaining.
We have a range of Chef-cooked BBQ menu packages available, or opt for the self-cooked BBQ option.
Audio Visual Equipment
We have an in-built sound system across the entire Clubhouse. Our data projector, screen, laptop, lectern and microphone are all available for full use (subject to availability) during your event at Killara. Complimentary high-speed wireless is also available throughout the Club.
